I apologize in advance to those of you that are not fortunate enough to live in a town with a Trader Joe’s. I *heart* Trader Joe’s. Unfortunately I haven’t been to my beloved Trader’s recently, as I have become one of those ‘crazy coupon ladies’ (and finally getting good at it, I might add!). However… I’ve had this in my freezer for quite some time now…
I fell in love with the idea of this, when I saw these on the shelf. Unfortunately, until now, I have never remembered to take them out of the freezer ahead of time. These have to rise overnight (9 hours), and let’s face it, breakfast isn’t usually on my mind after my reality television. I guess ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ left me thinking about food last night…. I’d blame it on ‘Jillian’, but she’s on my DVR still waiting to be watched. She probably wouldn’t approve of these anyway.
This package is maybe 6 inches long, if that, and inside it has 4 chocolate filled croissants in it. When you take them out of the package they are tiny. Yet, look what I awoke to this morning! Fluffy greatness!
After 25 minutes in the oven, this was my result. My house smells like a little French bakery right now… Je t’adore… délicieuse!!!
And I have some happy children…
And I’m one happy mamma… YUM!
The ONLY drawback/flaw/negative I see to these, would be this…
And it’s really only a downside because ever since our Miss Hannigan video event, Liam fights me for the vacuum… they all do, actually. (Who knew a Dyson could provide so much entertainment?)
Perhaps I should go and watch Jillian now.
