Gingerbread Men…

December 30, 2010 by Michelle Leave a Comment

I stumbled across some super cute Gingerbread man kits at Trader Joe’s while trying to find my Christmas Eve, prime rib entree.  Of course they were out of the prime rib, but these were in abundance, and only $0.99 to boot!  I thought it would be a fun activity for all the kids to do during the holidays, and I was right.  I pulled them out on a rainy morning and let them go to town.  They were thrilled that there was frosting and CANDY in the box.  (Yes, I’m smart like that… candy for breakfast and all… it was a good idea, in theory, anyway).

The M&M like candies were easy for them to work with.  The sprinkle balls… not so much.  In hindsight, I’m wishing I had ditched the sprinkle bags.

That’s not snow on my table… and you should have seen the FLOOR…

It’s Christmas…. why the heck not?

Notice who’s licking his fingers in this pic… yep, he’s MY son…

I can’t help but notice that Luke looks a lot like Eli in this next picture.  Funny, as he and Liam look mostly like Noah, whereas Aidan is undoubtedly Eli’s clone.

I probably don’t have to mention that I’m still finding those little sprinkle balls on the floor!!!
