Ok, so I said I was going to post some throwback pictures here periodically since I went MIA for so long. I just love that Facebook helps us out with this! (And I apologize for the terrible quality photo. My phone back then took terrible pictures!)
I found this ‘memory’ on my Facebook profile this morning. This was taken exactly three years ago today. My guys were four years old, and were already learning how to SHOP. Just look how sweet and innocent they look!
Remember, looks can be deceiving. I am pretty sure that this was the LAST time we used these little carts, lol!
YES, they are in their pajamas, in the grocery store. This was right after school drop-off for the big kids. Getting out of the house in the mornings was a challenge back then, and hasn’t changed much even today. Sure, our challenges are a little different these days. No matter how you spin it, getting six people out of the house and into a car together, especially early in the morning, is sure to cause some sort of chaos.
My chaos is just special.
I’m surprised they had on shoes. Actually now that I think back on this, this was a really good day!
Another flashback picture from a few months later… caption taken straight from my Facebook page…
Always fun to be out running errands and then look in you rear view mirror to learn one of your children has left the house in only his UNDERWEAR! Really???
The best part was that his big brothers put him in the car this way, and didn’t think anything of it!
I can’t even count the number of times that I have pulled up to Target only to find one of my kids without his shoes.
THIS, however… was a first.

Ok the buckled up, halfway neked kid pic was funny!
