Looking for an easy way to save a little mad money this year? If so, join me in the 52 Week Money Saving Challenge!
The 52 Week Money Saving Challenge is an easy way to set aside some cash throughout the year. You contribute a small amount each week, and by the end of year you have a nice bit of savings to use as you choose. Some people use an envelope, others a jar. I’m planning to use a savings account, just so it’s not under my nose.
You can choose to do it the traditional way, or in REVERSE. The traditional way starts with $1, and ends in week 52 with a $52 contribution. The reverse method contributes the highest amount ($52) in the first week, and it goes down each week from there. If you are tapped out from the holidays, the traditional way may be best for you. On the flip side, if you want to contribute less next year when the holidays roll around again, you might prefer to get the hard part out of the way sooner vs later.
I’ve added BOTH formats for your convenience. Download your Printable 52 Week Money Saving Challenge worksheets below.
If you get in a bind one week, don’t sweat it. Simply make it up when you can. I am hoping to contribute extra when I have it available, just in case something comes up.
Happy New Year!
