When I was around 6 months pregnant with the triplets Matt & I went out on a ‘date’. We went to a nice steak restaurant, but the true highlight was our trip to the Austin Mothers of Multiples garage sale. I had literally been looking forward to it for weeks! I was so excited to wander around and dig through all the goodies. Matt was a little less impressed, I think. As I was digging through the racks of boy clothes, I stumbled across 3 matching Gymboree ‘Bug’ rompers. I may as well have won the lottery. I continued shopping, filled up my laundry basket with all my bargains, and proceeded to the checkout line. A very sweet mom was cutting the price cards off of all my items and told me that I was buying several of her things. Guess what??? The little bug outfits were hers. It turns out, she also had BBB triplets that were a year older than mine. That’s how I met the spanky bottom boys… well, their mom at least. Before we moved from Texas, I scored some additional outfits from the spanky’s. We’ve been wearing them throughout the winter. Thanks to my FB addiction, I’ve been able to keep in touch with my sweet friend, and look what we got this week!!!
All this, plus 2 other outfits that we decided to wear already! I am so excited. This equates to:
15 pairs of shorts
3 swim suits
3 shorts rompers
3 pants rompers
9 T-shirts
3 pairs of jeans
3 pairs of white pants
3 polo shirts
6 PJs
3 pairs little brown shoes
3 pairs flip-flops
Combine this with the 21 outfits I scored at the Carter’s outlet last weekend (on sale, with a coupon, & a multiples discount), we are set for spring/summer, or at least until we move to the next size! Thanks spanky bottom boys for selling us your hand-me-downs! We love them!!!
I thought I would end with a fun shot of the babies getting ready for their bath. They are so much fun right now!

March 3, 2009 at 1:56 amWow those clothes are awesome! I met a GBB triplet mom near me and she has given me so many awesome clothes and it’s worked out that we’ve been able to use them in the right season. Our boys have clothes all the way to 3T! It helps out so much! 🙂
