Remember this?
This is the hole that one of the monsters made in one of the crib tents during nap time a few months back. I still have no idea how (or why) this happened, but so far the tent is still doing its job… and thus I have no plans to remove it. (Let us not forget THIS event.)
This ‘hole’ has become somewhat of a game at nap time now. Liam (of course) likes to sleep in this crib at nap time. This is the child that wants absolutely NOTHING in his crib at night, other than his blanket. However, at nap time, he has to have all sorts of toys, books… you name it. It didn’t take me long to clue in to what he was up to… the sound of clanging cars, thumping books, and other banging obstacles as they hit the hardwood floor on the 2nd story gave it away pretty quickly. The first time my heart skipped a few beats in terror, as I thought he had ‘escaped’. Thankfully not… just entertaining Luke by launching things through the hole. I don’t mind picking up toys as long as he stays in his crib and eventually goes to sleep. That’s how I roll these days (a girl has to have time to do the laundry!).
Since N&E are back in school (actually have been back since July), we’re back to our ‘normal’ routine. I typically have to wake Luke & Liam up to pick them up in the afternoons. Aidan usually wakes up on his own, right on queue. One day last week I opened the nursery door to see this…
For some reason this just struck me funny… so of course I had to run down and get my camera before waking them.

September 21, 2010 at 7:27 pmThis is HILARIOUS! We are in climbing out of crib hell right now. I'm waiting for a new crib tent to arrive in the mail and praying that it will bring back naptime for a few more months at least.
