I know I mentioned the other day I’ve become one of those coupon fanatics. Matt thinks I’m obsessed. Maybe I am… who knows? It is rather addicting, once you start getting the hang of it. Extremely addicting, actually. You would be surprised at how much you can get for free or almost free, if you pay attention. I got paid $4 this week to purchase 4 bottles of Windex. (Yes, you read that right.) Anyway, when a post about free ice cream at CVS made its way to my in-box, it got my attention.
CVS is not a place I typically take the littles (never). Afterall, SICK people go to CVS. (Germ-o-phobe in me, again.) I’ve been playing the drugstore game the last few weeks with CVS & Walgreens, but I do it solo, or when I have someone that can sit in the car with the kiddos while I run in. However, when free ice cream is involved…
It wasn’t worth it to try and load/unload the triple stroller for a 2 minute trip inside, nor are the CVS aisles wide enough for my patience level. This is a terrible picture, but I did what I could with my cell phone. They were actually thrilled to do this, despite the grimace on Aidan & Luke’s faces. And yes, Liam sat down while the cart was moving. I will note, that I completely hosed this cart down with my purse-sized Lysol before I put them in here. Yes, I did.
I also ignored this…
And look what I walked out of CVS with… all for $1. ONE dollar for 10 mini ice creams.
For those of you with an ice cream addiction and/or sweet tooth like mine, Skinny Cow has dropped $1/1 coupons, and also B2G1 free coupons. If you ‘LIKE’ skinny cow on Facebook you can print yourself some too (2 prints each coupon, per computer). CVS has the Skinny Cow mini cups on sale for $1 through Saturday, so each $1/1 coupon will get you 1 free. I used (4) $1/1 coupons, and (2) B2G1 free coupons, plus my $3 ECB that I scored from buying Diet Coke earlier in the week (never can have too much Diet Coke) making my net total just $1 for 10.
YUM! I had the ‘Caramel Cone’ last night and it was De-lish! Matt enjoyed the Dulce de Lece… and refrained from making fun of me while he was eating it.

LOVE IT!!!
BTW, I used to work for Matt at Brinker, just so you know who this random person is that's commenting on your blog. I love your posts – they're so entertaining, and inspiring! I'm just a SAHM to two kids (3.5 years and 7.5 months) and on my roughest days I think if YOU can do it with 5, I can survive with just 2. Thanks for the inspiration!
