My trio has gotten very good at out-smarting baby proofing devices. We’ve already discussed my cabinet situation, to no end. This week they’ve learned to remove the plastic plug protectors from the wall outlets. I can’t decide whether it’s safer to keep them in or just leave them out at this point. For now I just keep putting them back in, all while telling them ‘no-no, uh-oh…., etc.’. (You know they are listenting to my every word, right?!)
Yesterday Luke learned how to open the strap to the armoir cabinets under the TV. We keep this cabinet strapped because one side is stuffed full of DVDs, which I don’t want to have to repeatedly pick up off the floor. The other side houses the ‘kid’ books. I get their books out for them every once in awhile. If we leave them out all the time they end up getting thrown around like all the other toys, or chewed up by the dog (&%^$*#*@!).
I caught Luke in action yesterday…
Luke…. what could possibly be inside the cabinet if all of your books are on my floor???
